Terms of Service

CV Creator is an AI-assisted tool that helps you write a CV and a matching cover letter. You give us your details; our AI turns them into professionally worded documents that you can download and send to employers.

By using CV Creator you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please don't use the service.

Our AI is built to improve the wording of the information you give us. It is instructed not to invent employers, dates, qualifications, numbers or achievements you did not provide. If you give us little, you will get a shorter CV rather than a padded one.

You remain responsible for your CV. You are responsible for the accuracy and truthfulness of everything you enter, and for checking the finished CV and cover letter before you send them to an employer. AI can make mistakes — please read your documents carefully. Once you submit a CV to an employer, it is your representation about yourself, not ours.

We do not guarantee that you will get a job, an interview, or a response of any kind. We also cannot guarantee that any particular employer's applicant tracking system (ATS) will parse your CV in a specific way. Our ATS mode produces a clean, single-column, standard-headings document designed to be machine-readable, but every employer's system is different and outside our control.

CV Creator costs R49, once off. There is no subscription. That once-off payment includes:

• your generated CV;
• a matching cover letter;
• PDF downloads of both;
• a Word (.docx) version of your CV when you use ATS mode;
• two free regenerations if you want the AI to try again;
• 30 days of access to re-download your documents.

After 30 days your data is automatically deleted (see our privacy policy), and your download links stop working.

You see a full preview of your CV before you pay, so you know exactly what you're getting. That said, if something goes wrong — the document doesn't download, the content isn't what you asked for, or you're simply not happy with it — email us at info@tech-fit.co.za within 7 days and we'll refund you. No lengthy forms, no interrogation. We'd rather fix it or refund you than have you stuck with something you can't use.

Nothing in these terms takes away any rights you have under the South African Consumer Protection Act or other applicable law.

You agree that you will not:

• submit information you know to be false or misleading;
• submit someone else's personal information without their permission (only build a CV for yourself, or for someone who has asked you to);
• use the service for anything unlawful;
• attempt to break, overload, scrape or work around the limits of the service.

We may suspend access if the service is being misused.

We work to keep CV Creator running, but we don't promise it will be available without interruption. The service depends on third parties (for AI generation, hosting, payments and email) and those can have outages.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and the South African courts have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
